WORK IN PROGRESS MURAL

The Work in Progress Mural, conceived by Jann Haworth in 2008 and begun in 2016, to date spans over 100 horizontal ft. The mural is made through a collaborative process— directed by Haworth, and collaged by Liberty Blake,—it features a crowd of women who are/were ‘catalysts for change’ in their particular fields. Each portrait is made by a member of the public—many by self confessed non artists— in workshops taught by Haworth and Blake. The full figures in the front row are made by professional artists.
